01 · Draw

Draw it once.

Sketch the building and drop in racks, aisles, goods in and dispatch. depot.stream works out every location, every label and the walking route between them.

02 · Follow

Then just follow the screen.

Go to A-01-1-A. Pick 24. Scan to confirm. Every task says where to go and what to take, in the order that saves the most walking.

Pick this batch firstUse by 9 Oct · L2481

Oldest date first.

Use by and best before on every batch. Picking always takes the oldest first, short-life stock is flagged at the door, and a recall is one search away.

Van 3 · Round 218 drops · loaded last drop first

Loaded in drop order.

Rounds are picked straight onto the van, last drop in first. Deliveries come off as the driver goes, and whatever comes back is reconciled at the end of the round.

A trade customer being served at a wholesale trade counter

A trade shop that never oversells.

Trade customers order online at their own prices, from the stock that's really on the shelf. Walk-in customers are served at the counter from the same stock.

Works with what you have.

Any phone or tablet as a scanner. The rugged handhelds you already own. Label printers you can buy anywhere.

Questions.

How long does it take to set up?

Most warehouses are drawn in an afternoon. Import your products from a spreadsheet, print your location labels, and you can receive your first delivery the same day.

Do I need new hardware?

No. Any phone works as a scanner, and depot.stream also runs on the rugged handhelds many warehouses already have, including older Windows Mobile models.

How is my data kept safe?

Each business's data is kept apart at the database level, the keys you connect (couriers, Shopify and the like) are stored encrypted, and everything is backed up every night.

Am I tied in?

No. Plans are monthly with no contract and no setup fee, and you can export your products and stock as spreadsheets whenever you like.
